Leadership Training

Leadership Training: Waste Donation for Desludging Program

YSC Community collaborated with START Community, YKWS, and IRis.co.id in the “Waste Donation for Desludging” initiative. Through this project, the community successfully raised IDR 737,000 to support improved sanitation access for 161 beneficiaries.

Education and Creative Campaigns

Creative Education Campaign: Musik Tepi Sungai

In commemoration of World Toilet Day, YSC Community participated in a creative WASH campaign through art and music titled “Musik Tepi Sungai” (Music by the Riverside). This campaign was created as a collaborative effort to raise awareness about safe and proper sanitation practices. With more than 700 audience members reached, music became a universal language that brought people together.

Youth Media Hub

Youth Media Hub: From Waste to Waves – Gudang Agen Seas

Through the Save Our Sea program, YSC Community learned how to create impactful documentary films and transform environmental issues into powerful stories. The result? From Waste to Waves – Gudang Agen Seas, a documentary that sheds light on the realities of marine pollution and the actions we can take to address it. Through the lens of a camera, we captured not only images, but also stories, emotions, and the spirit of change.

Research and Innovation

Research and Innovation: Save Our Sea

Through the Save Our Sea program, YSC Community brought together university students from diverse disciplines, including Sociology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Public Health, to develop innovative solutions for coastal sanitation challenges. One of the program’s key innovations was the Tripikon-S Septic Tank, a technology designed specifically for houses built above coastal waters to help prevent direct sewage contamination into the sea and protect marine ecosystems.

Community Action Day

Community Action Day: Waste-Friendly School Initiative

YSC Community contributed to the development of a Waste-Friendly School through its collaboration with Az-Zahra School. As part of the initiative, we actively promoted environmental awareness by teaching waste segregation practices to kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school students. The initiative aims to foster early awareness of responsible waste management, create cleaner learning environments, and inspire a generation that is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
